Live in a Community
Vincentian Volunteers commit to living a life of simplicity, solidarity and intentional community. This includes sharing weekly meals, spending time together at the house and exploring the city together, and engaging vulnerably in reflection on social justice issues locally and globally. Living and serving full-time in the West End neighborhood provides opportunities to immerse and invest yourself in the neighborhood, and participation in parish-based SVDP Conferences provides the opportunity to connect to the larger Vincentian family in Cincinnati. Throughout the year, VVCs also engage in monthly leadership development workshops and three annual retreats, to encourage spiritual, professional and personal growth.
