Youth and Young Adult Conferences

Youth and Young Adult Conferences

Youth and Young Adult Conferences are groups of people who get together on a regular basis to organize service activities, discuss social justice topics, grow together in friendship, and develop a lifelong commitment to living faith in action. Youth and Young Adult Conferences empower young people of Cincinnati to be part of the mission and work of SVDP.

As a member of a Conference, members have an amazing opportunity to:

  • Meet like-minded students wanting to make a difference in our community
  • Participate in fun and eye-opening service activities
  • Serve your local neighbors in need
  • Develop leadership skills
  • Be a part of an international organization

Young Adult Conferences

The St. Jude Young Adult Conference welcomes people ages 18-40 to join engage in the work of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. The St. Jude YAC is based out of the Neyer Outreach Center. Reach out to Maggie Sheehan at MSheehan@SVDPcincinnati.org for more information.

High School Conferences

We have four high school Youth Conferences for students at the following schools:

Mini Vinnies

We have one Mini Vinnies Conference at Good Shepherd Catholic Montessori. Mini Vinnies is a SVDP group comprised of elementary and middle school aged children. Mini Vinnies introduces children to SVDP, social justice issues, and to living their faith in action through the “See, Think, Do!” model of service.
