Jordan Hoak Scholarship Fund

Rooted in the Vine

Jordan left a very strong impression on the staff and volunteers of St. Vincent de Paul through her participation in Rooted in the Vine, a weeklong Ozanam Center immersion retreat. She found ways to engage the people she encountered; she was interested in learning and had such a positive attitude; she was reflective and really took what she learned to heart, and thought of ways she could put it into action. Jordan gave of herself in service to others. She was a compassionate young woman who had so much to give.

Follow in Jordan’s Example

The Jordan Hoak Scholarship Fund exists to celebrate Jordan’s life and to inspire young people to bring God’s light and love to individuals and communities in need. Jordan treated all people with dignity, compassion and respect – inspired by her faith and her deep desire to make a positive difference in our world, one person at a time.

The Jordan Hoak Scholarship for Service Leadership helps provide students with a retreat experience similar to the one that meant so much to Jordan – thereby inspiring other students to grow spiritually through service.
