Celebrating 150 Years of Faith, Friendship & Service to Cincinnati
150 years ago, in March, 1869, six young men met at the St. Clare Convent of the Sisters of the Poor of St. Francis on Third Street in Cincinnati to establish the first Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in the city.
Join us Saturday, March 30, as Father Benedict O’Cinnsealaigh leads us in a celebration of our 150 years of faith, friendship and service to our neighbors in the Cincinnati District Council.
We are pleased that Fr. Benedict will celebrate the Mass with us. As part of the Mass, Vincentians will renew our commitment to the Society. Following the Mass we will participate in a special Vincentian Stations of the Cross before we move with Father O’Cinnsealaigh to the parish hall for our retreat and fellowship.
All Vincentians, family and friends are invited to join us on this Lenten Saturday morning for Mass, reflection and socializing.
