Youth and Young Adult Conferences

What’s a Conference?

Glad you asked! “Conference” is a French word meaning “coming together.” A St. Vincent de Paul Conference is a group of people who get together on a regular basis to meet and discuss ways to address particular needs in their community and then take action to meet those particular needs.

Youth and Young Adult Conferences empower young people of Cincinnati to be part of the mission and work of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Youth and Young Adult Conferences, like traditional Conferences, focus on the three Essential Elements of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul - spirituality, friendship, and service.
