For over 20 years, RetroFittings has brought together fashion and philanthropy, celebrating creativity and compassion in a truly unique way.

Hosted in partnership with the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP), RetroFittings features creative, student-designed runway fashion made entirely from thrifted materials sourced from St. Vincent de Paul’s thrift stores.

Enjoy a one-of-a-kind fashion show, boutique shopping, drinks, dinner by the bite, silent auction, raffle and more!

Proceeds benefit St. Vincent de Paul’s programs, helping neighbors in need access essential resources – because helping our neighbors never goes out of style.

Your RetroFittings ticket gets you red-carpet access beginning at 5:30 p.m. to a fabulous night of hors d’oeuvres, boutique shopping, silent and live auctions, and raffles…and that’s all before the fashion show starts!

At 7:30 p.m., you’ll be mesmerized by the creative and sustainable designs from students in the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP). This one-of-a-kind fashion show showcases the original creations of students from UC’s top-ranked fashion program using upcycled materials from St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores.

DAAP students have transformed thrift store items into bold fashion, putting upcycling into practice and shining a light on the benefits of thrifting at St. Vincent de Paul.

Now, we are challenging you to create your own sustainable outfit for RetroFittings by shopping our thrift stores and pairing new-to-you items with items already in your closet.
