Catholic Schools Week

National Catholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. It starts the last Sunday in January and runs all week long.

St. Vincent de Paul has valued our partnership with the Catholic Schools community for decades. With support from these schools, we’re able to help our neighbors with basic needs like food and personal care items. We look forward to continuing that service for many years to come.

In celebration of Catholic Schools Week 2018, we would invite all Catholic schools to support SVDP through a drive for non-perishable food and/or personal care items.

Drive dates:                       Jan. 28 – Feb. 3, 2018

Donation Barrels:             St. Vincent de Paul will deliver barrels beginning Jan. 24
St. Vincent de Paul will pick up barrels beginning Feb. 5

Collection Items:             Please collect either non-perishable food items and/or personal care items.

By hosting a drive during Catholic Schools Week 2018, you will help families right here in Cincinnati who struggle to afford life’s most basic needs, while providing an opportunity for your students to practice Christian charity. St. Vincent de Paul relies on donations like yours to continue our mission. Each and every drive counts!

If your school would like to get involved with St. Vincent de Paul during Catholic Schools Week, please contact Patricia Dawson, Communications Coordinator, at (513) 853-1013 or pdawson@SVDPcincinnati.org
