How We Use Our Resources

Making a Real Difference. Your Support Goes a Long Way.

St. Vincent de Paul is primarily a private sector response to need in our community. We do not receive funding from United Way or the Archbishop’s Fund. Gifts range from thousands of dollars from a corporation or bequest to $5 a month given by a caring senior citizen. Without these many gifts, we simply would not be able to provide emergency assistance and basic necessities to more than 80,000 people in need each year throughout Greater Cincinnati.

We make the most of your gifts.

Here's How Your Money is Spent

  • Furniture, Clothing and other Basic Necessities 64%
  • Food Pantry 7%
  • Emergency Assistance 19%
  • Car Program 4%

The remaining 6 cents is used for further development of the organization, including administration and fundraising. By increasing the level of services offered & strengthening our programs, we help to alleviate emergency situations, while providing longer term solutions that promote self-sufficiency to those we assist.

Please support our efforts to provide life's most basic necessities - food, shelter, clothing, transportation and emotional comfort - to our neighbors in need. We promise your support will truly make a difference in the lives of others.
