Community Encouraged to Donate Goods to Help Neighbors in Need

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul will be collecting gently-used clothing, household items and furniture during the 8th annual “Spring Cleaning Drive” on Saturday, April 24, 2010, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at Tri-County Mall.

St. Vincent de Paul, partnering with Tri-County Mall and WGRR 103.5, will be stationed in the Tri-County Mall parking lot at the corner of Princeton Pike and Kemper Roads. All donated items will help St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores provide basic necessities to those in need throughout Greater Cincinnati. Tax receipts will be provided for donors. WGRR will be on location broadcasting from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Donors will receive a free chicken sandwich, courtesy of Tri-County Mall Chick-fil-A®, while supplies last.

The one-day event at Tri-County Mall will serve as the kick-off for St. Vincent de Paul’s donation collection efforts, encouraging the donation of items at any of the six St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores, located in Mason, Colerain Township, Evendale, Milford, Winton Place and it’s newly expanded location in Mt. Washington.
