Urgent Need Exists In Our Community For Furniture Donations To Help Those Less Fortunate

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul and the Macy's Furniture Gallery at Sycamore Plaza, at I-71 and Montgomery Road, will continue their partnership with a three-day Furniture & Mattress Drive, May 9, 10 & 11, 2008. During the three-day event, Macy's customers will receive FREE delivery with any $ 750 purchase of furniture, bedding or rugs, when they schedule St. Vincent de Paul to pick-up gently-used furniture and mattresses. St. Vincent de Paul volunteers will be on-site to schedule pick-ups. Tax receipts will be provided when donated items are picked-up. All donated items will be distributed throughout Greater Cincinnati.

Macy's Furniture Gallery at Sycamore Plaza and other Macy's furniture and bedding stores throughout Greater Cincinnati continue to support the "Mattress & Furniture Drive" throughout the year by promoting the program to customers in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky who schedule a free pick-ups of their gently-used mattress or furniture through St. Vincent de Paul.
