The all-volunteer Edyth and Carl Lindner Choice Food Pantry, in the West End Outreach Center, provides groceries to more than 800 families monthly. The Food Pantry looks like a grocery store, but there is no check out counter. Here families can shop for the food and personal care items they need for free. Families are greeted by volunteers who treat them with the respect they deserve, hope and prayer are offered and rather than a prepared meal, they leave with the items needed to prepare and serve meals in their own homes.
The Edyth and Carl Lindner Choice Food Pantry is part of a network of 9 parish-based food pantries and many other emergency food closets that serve those in Hamilton County and Greater Cincinnati.
For those requesting assistance with food, the Edyth & Carl Lindner Choice Food Pantry is open every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to noon at our West End Outreach Center at 1125 Bank Street. Those living in the following zip codes are welcome to come: 45202, 45203, 45214, 45219, 45225, 45229, 45232.
